Forecast is iffy for Sunday but plan to ride if it looks like we'll stay dry. Doing the ride out of Thornville Community Park again. Meet at noon for a twenty-six mile road ride with a stop in Somerset for the "$5.00 Foot Long" at Subway. Here is the route -

Get to the park by going south on Rt. 13 and turning right on Rt. 204 to Thornville. Take a left on Park Dr. across from the elementary school and follow to the park.
M, is this the ride I attempted last Fall with all of the hills? I'm wondering if I should attempt a ride yet to test my legs.
Are you asking for an HONEST assessment of the hills? The stretch on 757 has the biggest ones which you became familiar with last year. Give it a shot. None of us are going to be setting any records. I'm fresh off the crutches and am the one to wait on.
I will be watching the weather and will join you if it looks like it will be dry for a few hours.
I really enjoyed last Sunday, riding through the fields covered with snow.
I'm canceling the ride for today. Still rain showing in the area with good probability of showers continueing through the day.
All that dialog, and you all bailed!! Glad I have drywall sanding to fall back to.
Stopped at the Bike Doctor yesterday to see about some new shifter cables for the Screamer. Cody said "Oh we have some really long ones. Probably longer than you'd need." Not quite Cody!! The cable going to the rear derailleur was about 6" longer than their cable. Order time! We did pick up a new pair of biking shoes for the stoker. Not sure she's real thrilled about the SPD clips, but they will be attached soon. Still haven't figured out how I'm going to haul this thing.
